BIOGRAPHY

 Jacopo Ginanneschi

Jacopo Ginanneschi was born in 1987 in Castel del Piano (Gr), Italy. He graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. In 2011 he worked as an assistant of the painter Nicola de Maria at the Pecci Museum in Prato. In 2012 he took part  to the artist residency International Plein Air Mark Rothko in Daugavpils, Latvia. In 2015 he took part to the group show Fine Arts University Selection in Tsukuba, Japan. He took part to teaching projects and artist residencies in Hangzhou and Chongqing, China. In 2021 he had a solo show at the Rubin Gallery in Milan. In 2023 he had a solo show at Sala delle Colonne in Pontassieve. In 2024 he was a finalist at the X Vaf Stiftung Prize, showing his works in Kiel (Germany), and Mart Museum in Rovereto (Italy). Since 2017 he has been a member of The Accademia delle Arti del Disegno in Florence. His works are in the Mark Rothko Museum in Daugavpils, Latvia, and in the Montecatini Museum, Italy. He took part to art fairs in Torino and Verona. He lives and works in Milan.
